Groups for NYU International Students 

Find community, form friendships and grow together by joining a group with similar interests! We have groups for English Conversation, Professional Mentorship, Parents/Families, and International Christian Fellowship!

English Conversation Partner or Group! Meet new friends and practice speaking English. Groups meet weekly for the semester. Various locations and days/times are available. Check back in late August/early September to register for a group for the Fall semester!

Professional Mentorship Program for Graduate Students: You are not only here for a great education. You also want to have guidance to a great job! If that’s you, come find out how you can be selected to our Professional Mentorship Program. If selected, we will match you with a working professional in NYC. For the career minded person, this can change your life!

Weekly International Parents Group

Join other international parents to discuss interesting parenting topics while connecting with other NYU families. Children are welcome. We meet Mondays at 10am. Register here: or for more information, contact Cindy.

International Christian Fellowship

We gather every Thursday during the school year at 6:30pm at Neighborhood Church of Greenwich Village at 269 Bleeker St.

Want to discover the Jesus of the Bible? Join other students and make new friends. Students of all faiths and non-faiths welcome!

Chinatown Welcome Tour
Join OGS, International Students Inc., and 3Stone on tour around Chinatown to taste and see the rich culture of this historic neighborhood just south of NYU. The walk will take you through Chinatown’s history, past, and present while tasting a few of its culinary offerings. Along the way, you’ll hear local tips on where to buy groceries and places to bookmark to bring your friends! Note: this event requires registration through OGS.

Brooklyn Bridge Walk & Pizza
Come trek the Brooklyn Bridge together and enjoy some slices of real Brooklyn pizza in Brooklyn Bridge Park! Start your time in NYC the right way, and make some new friends in the process!
